Welcome to Osaka, an all-you-can-eat buffet located at 2904 Colorado Ave, Joliet, IL. This vibrant dining destination invites you to embark on a culinary adventure filled with the rich and unforgettable flavors of Japanese and Chinese cuisine.

Step inside and immerse yourself in a warm, welcoming atmosphere characterized by friendly service and a casual dining experience. With an extensive buffet selection, there's something to satisfy every palate. Indulge in the mouthwatering offerings that include flavorful sushi, tender octopus, succulent shrimp, flaky crab meat, and a variety of fresh fish. The Hibachi grill is particularly popular, where you can customize your meal to suit your taste, ensuring that every bite is just how you like it.

While some customers wish for more seafood options, many agree that the quality of food more than compensates for it. For instance, Estefania D praised the delightful dishes she savored, though she mentioned a desire for a wider array of seafood. On the other hand, Farhan Sabzaali appreciated the friendly staff who made his Hibachi experience even better, customizing his meal with flavors he loved. This attention to detail is what sets Osaka apart in the bustling buffet scene.

One of the standout features of Osaka is its affordability. With a meal priced at approximately $21.39 with tax included, many guests, like Tony Anczer, feel they definitely get their money's worth. The buffet also offers patrons unlimited drinks at no extra charge, allowing for a satisfying dining experience without the fear of breaking the bank.

However, it's good to keep in mind that some guests, like Malisa Rose, found the pricing a bit on the higher side, especially for younger children. The hearty variety available, coupled with the absence of monotony in flavors, makes a visit to Osaka a rewarding experience overall.

If you’re searching for a buffet where you can eat to your heart’s content while enjoying a wide selection of dishes from both Chinese and Japanese cuisines, Osaka is a beloved choice among locals and visitors alike. Whether you’re in the mood for a cozy family dinner or a fun outing with friends, be sure to swing by and treat yourself—your taste buds will thank you!

It costs $21.39 (with tax included) per person. What I ate was good but i wish they had more seafood options. They had some anyway: sushi, octopus, shrimps, crab meat and fish . I am not a Pepsi fan and it is what they have. The waitress was friendly.

Friendly staff at all you can eat Hibachi and Chinese Buffet. Hibachi selection is great and staff works with you to customize the flavor to your liking. Overall, not a bad selection for price. Some items were not as expected thus 1 less star but will be back if in the area

I must say that this place isn't cheap. 10+ is the sake as an adult which is $19 on the weekends. Just thought it should be known so you're not surprised when you go there. They also charge for a 2 year old. Which I was surprised by. But as far as the food... So much variety! And it's not like some Chinese buffets where it all kind of tastes the same. I loved everything I tried except the shrimp from the seafood boil was pretty dry and almost impossible to peel from its skin/shell. Same as the peppered shrimp. And my children did try several of the American cuisines (pizza, Mac n cheese, etc) and said that they weren't very good at all. But they really liked all the Chinese food they ate (especially the mussels). But other than that it was soo good that most of us had 3 plates or more. And I'm talking about my 6 year old daughter as well, lol. Sushi was also a plus, toned of different kinds and they also had hibachi, but I didn't try it. There could've been more desserts, tbh. But I did like the fact that they had individual Ice-cream cups, so you know that noones hands touched your dessert. Looking forward to going back again.

Had dinner at BC Osaka on 5/28/25. My review is on the standard of a Chinese buffet in the region. Total cost was $20.07, which includes a $0.50 charge for using my debit card. I felt I got my money’s worth for $20.07. The $20.07 includes the cost of whatever drink or drinks you want. My “go to” drink is hot tea. If you want other drinks there is no additional charge. In addition to the multiple rows of buffets of Chinese food, there’s also to hibachi grill where a cook will flattop grill cook a plate of raw ingredients that you put on the plate from the buffet of options. My hibachi grill selection today included steak, shrimp, chicken, broccoli, shallots (I think), onions, and Broccoli. The main down side to me was the condition of the bathroom. The bathroom itself wasn’t all that bad, but was riddled with political carvings and marker from 2024. A 10 minutes paint touch up job would have gotten rid of these markings (which was about 6 months or more ago). Back to the food… overall, the food was good quality on par for a Chinese buffet. The buffet included all the main items you’d expect from a Chinese buffet and the cook quality seemed great.
